Ryan | Brooklyn, NY | Newborn Session

Newborn sessions take patience and a lot of planning, which is why I always recommend that my clients review my FAQ page about their newborn session. In order to capture the perfect image, I set my studio temperature to 85 degrees, and work on cooing your sweet little newborn to sleep! Take Ryan for example – his little smiles and chubby cheeks gave me all the inspiration needed to capture him in adorable ways, and I think I really succeeded in that! It certainly made a difference that I had the cutest model ever to help me along 🙂

I absolutely loved this newborn session for a thousand different reasons, but perhaps my favorite reason was the fact that Shalla + her husband were SO over the moon excited to welcome little baby Ryan into the world and capture his first few days on camera. These two new parents have been together for twenty years and were high school sweethearts (so much love, and so much admiration!), so when they found out they were pregnant with their first son, they could not have been more thrilled! It was evident in the way they loved each other and little Ryan – their sweetness spilled over and created the most perfect little boy you couldn’t ever imagine.

Shalla told me how much she loved my newborn photography, and that she had seriously swooned over all the adorable little babies I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. I can’t say I disagree – my clients are the cutest! I’m so happy I was able to live up to Shalla’s expectation and give her exactly what she wanted! Now, I’m so excited to add Ryan to the list of incredible little guys that grace the walls of my studio, and to finally share some dreamy images of this family of three. Congratulations, you two!
